CANCELLED: European Lung Cancer Congress 2020

The IASLC and ESMO leadership have made the difficult, but unavoidable, decision to cancel the 2020 European Lung Cancer Congress (ELCC 2020), which was scheduled to take place take place April 15-18, 2020, in Geneva, Switzerland. This cancellation was based on critical elements such as the complete ban by the Swiss Federal Authorities on events of any size, travel restrictions placed on many countries and, most importantly, the toll currently being placed on our health care community, which is being forced to work extraordinary shifts in order to provide care for their patients. This decision also underlines our commitment to containing the virus and preventing further sickness and loss of life, as per WHO recommendations.
