Sumitra Thongprasert, MD, is a professor at the Faculty of Medicine, Chiang Mai University in Chiang Mai, Thailand. Her research interests include quality of life and targeted therapy for lung cancer patients.

 

Prof. Thongprasert received her undergraduate and medical degrees at Chiang Mai University. She trained in hematology/oncology at the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York, U.S.A. Her specialty is medical oncology.
