iaslc distinguished awards

The IASLC have 4 distinguished awards, which are presented at the World Conferences on Lung Cancer.

IASLC Merit Award is given to a member of IASLC, who has made an extraordinary contribution to the organization's development.
IASLC Scientific Award is given to an IASLC scientist for life-time scientific contribution in thoracic malignancy research and who has also contributed to the organization's development.
Mary J. Matthews Award is given to an IASLC scientist for life-time scientific achievements in pathology-translational research of thoracic malignancies.
Joseph W. Cullen Award is given to an IASLC scientist for life-time scientific achievements in prevention research of thoracic malignancies.

Candidates can be proposed by any member of the IASLC to the IASLC Award Committee:
