IASLC 2019 Latin America Conference on Lung Cancer (#LALCA19)

GOAL AND PURPOSE:

Lung cancer represents a significant and unique public health threat to  Latin America. Not only does this disease have a high prevalence rate, but it is also one of the main causes of cancer-related death. Working together with some of the most influential investigators affiliated with Latin America, the IASLC’s 2019 Latin America Conference on Lung Cancer (LALCA) will seek to provide attendees with multidisciplinary educational programming – with several sessions focusing specifically on the lung cancer landscape facing Latin America. LALCA will also afford young investigators valuable opportunities for networking and engagement with more established faculty through the IASLC School of Oncology – an exclusive event that occurs on the first day of the conference.
