In this program, we will cover:

  • the incidence and epidemiology of brain metastases in NSCLC.
  • its prognostic implications.
  • current management, including surgical, radiation and systemic options.

  • delineate the incidence, epidemiology and prognostic implications of brain metastases in advanced NSCLC.
  • identify the potential role of craniotomy and surgical resection in the management of CNS metastases.
  • differentiate the indications for whole brain vs stereotactic XRT in the management of brain metastases and identify the literature that supports these approaches.
  • quantify the risks of brain irradiation, either alone or in combination with systemic treatment.
