Courses and Webinars Related to Lung Cancer
This IASLC CME live webinar series is designed to meet the educational needs of healthcare professionals who diagnose and treat patients with lung cancer, including medical oncologists, thoracic surgeons, pulmonologists, radiation oncologists, radiologists, pathologists and advanced practice nurses and physicians' assistants. Participants who complete a pre-and post-test along with an evaluation will receive 1 AMA PRA Category 1 CreditTM for each completed webinar.
Supportive care is paramount in patients suffering from lung cancer. Because of the presentation in advanced stages, curative treatments are not available. To gain knowledge on non-pharmacological supportive care needs, patient reported outcomes are necessary. Review this section for various resources.
The IASLC Nurses & Allied Health Professionals Committee has undertaken a review and survey of existing educational resources. In addition to the IASLC website, here are some additional resources, specific to lung cancer, that are targeted to the Nursing & Allied Health professions.
