Led by Ramaswamy Govindan, MD, Program Chair, and Julie Brahmer, MD, Webinar Faculty, this session focused on basic immunologic abnormalities, both cellular and humoral, in lung cancer. Dr. Brahmer also discussed current treatments that harness the immune system to fight lung cancer.

This CME  live webinar series is designed to meet the educational needs of healthcare professionals who diagnose and treat patients with lung cancer, including medical oncologists, thoracic surgeons, pulmonologists, radiation oncologists, radiologists, pathologists and advanced practice nurses and physicians' assistants.
In this first session of the series, Dr. Brahmer and Dr. Govindan focused on basic immunologic abnormalities, both cellular and humoral, in lung cancer.  Current immunotherapeutic treatment options were discussed within the context of individual-case analyses presented.
