In this live webinar Dr. Taofeek K. Owonikoko and Dr. Ramaswamy Govindan will discuss key abstracts, presentations, and developments reported in Vienna, Austria during the recent (December 4-7, 2016) 17th World Conference on Lung Cancer (WCLC).
The program will:

  • update scientific progress in the prevention, early detection, diagnosis and treatment of thoracic malignancies;
  • review advances in the multidisciplinary management of patients in relation to current standards of care;
  • identify the most relevant clinical research results and ongoing trials likely to impact patient care in the near future.

After attending this program, participants will be able:

  • define on evolving standards of care in the multidisciplinary management of thoracic malignancies;
  • name of opportunities to participate in major, planned, and ongoing clinical trials in lung cancer;
  • discuss of treatment and management options in the personalized medicine and treatment paradigms.

Following the presentation, there will be ample time for discussion and a question/answer session. Attendees will be able to submit questions and comments to Dr. Owonikoko via internet chat.

This CME live webinar series is designed to meet the educational needs of healthcare professionals who diagnose and treat patients with lung cancer, including medical oncologists, thoracic surgeons, pulmonologists, radiation oncologists, radiologists, pathologists and advanced practice nurses and physicians' assistants.
