What: The International Association for the Study of Lung Cancer (IASLC) will host the IASLC 2019 World Conference on Lung Cancer (WCLC) Sept. 7-10, 2019, in Barcelona, Spain.

The IASLC WCLC is the world’s largest meeting dedicated solely to lung cancer and other thoracic malignancies, convening more than 7,000 researchers, physicians, nurses, patients and advocates from more than 100 countries. The conference features the best and brightest minds in the field and consists of presentations on groundbreaking research in next generation treatment, educational sessions on the latest trends in prevention and early detection, panel discussions on tobacco cessation efforts, and more. The four-day conference will cover a wide range of disciplines with invited talks, formal research studies, clinical trial results and hands-on workshops. There will be more than 2,000 presentations and 17+ specialized tracks. The IASLC 2019 WCLC had a record number of abstracts submitted (more than 2,400) – foreshadowing what is sure to be an exciting year for clinical research results.
