In this episode of Lung Cancer Considered, recorded at the 2023 Targeted Therapies of Lung Cancer meeting, host Dr. Narjust Florez moderates a conversation about using consolidated radiation in early-stage small-cell lung cancer. Joining the debate is Dr. Lawrence Einhorn from the Indiana University School of Medicine and Dr. Charles Simone from Memorial Sloan Kettering.

Charles B. Simone, II, MD, FACRO is Research Professor and Chief Medical Officer of the New York Proton Center and Full Member in Radiation Oncology at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. He is an NIH, NSF, and DOD-funded investigator who has published >490 peer-reviewed scientific articles/chapters and is an internationally recognized expert in proton therapy, stereotactic body radiation therapy, reirradiation, and developing innovative clinical trial strategies in thoracic oncology. 

Lawrence Einhorn, MD, has been on the IU School of Medicine Department of Medicine faculty since 1973. His field of expertise includes clinical trials and supportive care, with focus in the areas of lung and testicular cancers. Dr. Einhorn has also been involved in the clinical development of new drug therapies.
