Overview

IASLCs Education Committee will present a one-hour live session, synthesizing lung cancer research presented at the recent October meeting of the European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO) 2023 Congress. This webinar will address clinicians' need to keep abreast of current research and future trends to inform clinical practice.

Learning Objectives: At the end of the webinar, learners will be able to:

  1. Recognize new data to the changing NSCLC early-stage scenario.
  2. Analyze targeted therapies to determine a new standard of care.
  3. Evaluate the role of new drugs with different mechanisms of action and new toxicities.

Dr. Pilar Garrido (Spain) will moderate the program and lead the discussion and Q&A following panel presentations by Bartomeu Massuti, MD, (Spain), Telma Sequeira, MD (Portugal), and Helena Linardou, MD, PhD (Greece) as they review ESMO key presentations that will change the standard practice of care.

This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the accreditation requirements and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME). The International Association for the Study of Lung Cancer is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

The International Association for the Study of Lung Cancer designates the live format for this educational activity for a maximum of 1.00 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
