This popular CME program is a fun and exciting game show-style quiz competition that features key opinion leaders (KOLs) as contestants. Hosted by Program Chair Dr. Pranshu Mohindra and features Doctors Melissa Teply, Judith Paice, and Fionnuala Crowley. There will be learning, laughter, and only one KOL left standing!
Using the Evolve KOL Knockout™ case-based format, this live virtual symposium will focus on the challenges of managing cancer pain.
The activity will explore:
- How to effectively assess and screen cancer patients who require pain management and when to reevaluate their need for long-term pain management
- Pharmacological options and alternate therapies for treating cancer pain, plus how to apply proper patient communication strategies
- Opiate dosing, titration, and adverse effects associated with pain management options
